Early access

Added

  • Settings pages for integrations, general capacity, and local storage.
  • Export/import backup for tasks, allocations, dismissed items, integration metadata, and app settings.

Integrations

  • Azure DevOps import supports multiple accounts/projects, work item filters, source status/type, area, iteration, description, acceptance criteria, and effort in hours.
  • macOS local Outlook Calendar import uses local Calendar data through EventKit.
  • macOS local Outlook Tasks import uses local Reminders/EventKit data where the account supports task sync.

Changed

  • Product name and packaging changed from Daily Task Planner to Effort Plan.
  • Release artifacts changed to a macOS DMG and a Windows setup installer.
  • Outlook setup moved away from consent-dependent Microsoft Graph flows and toward local OS/client data sources.
  • Task cards were simplified for faster inbox triage.
  • Settings navigation and integration rows were made more compact.

Known limitations

  • Current installers are unsigned, and the macOS DMG is not notarized.
  • Windows setup may show a SmartScreen warning until code signing is added.
  • Outlook Email import is not supported in this release.
  • Imports are read-only and do not update source systems.
